We are excited to welcome you to Trinity Early Learning! Our mission is to provide high-quality, nurturing, and educational child care to the families of St. Albert and surrounding communities.

As many of you are aware, the Government of Alberta partners with the federal government through the Canada-Alberta Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CACWELCC) Agreement to offer grants that reduce child care fees (often referred to as "$10/day" care).

On May 15, 2025, we were advised that Trinity Early Learning was initially ineligible for this funding due to a federally imposed cap on new for-profit spaces. This means that without government approval, families at our center would not receive the reduced-rate funding available at other locations.

We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to change this. Thanks to the families who have already contacted their representatives, we have successfully secured advocacy meetings with St. Albert MLA Marie Renaud and  are waiting for a scheduled meeting with Minister Dale Nally (MLA for Morinville-St. Albert). 

There is a major window of opportunity: As of December, 5,000 new funded spots have been opened for for-profit centers. We are fighting to ensure Trinity Early Learning is included in this allocation so our families can access the same savings as everyone else.

To help us secure these spots, we encourage all interested families to reach out to our local and provincial leaders. Let them know that you support Trinity Early Learning and want to see us included in the affordability grant program.
