Join Our Waiting List – It's Free! OPENING FALL 2025
We are excited to welcome you to Trinity Early Learning, where we are committed to providing high-quality, nurturing, and educational child care to the families of St. Albert and surrounding communities.
As many of you know, the Government of Alberta partners with the federal government through the Canada-Alberta Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CACWELCC) Agreement to offer affordability grants that reduce child care fees for families.
Unfortunately, on May 15, 2025, we were advised that Trinity Early Learning is currently not eligible to access this funding due to a federally imposed cap on new for-profit spaces. This means that families enrolling at our centre will not receive the $10/day or reduced-rate funding available at other centres that fall within the capped allotment, even though we will be fully licensed and meet all quality and compliance standards.
Despite childcare demand and having a proven track record of quality, new centers are being excluded from funding due to arbitrary federal restrictions, not because of the quality of care or service we provide.
We need your support.
We encourage you to reach out to the federal Minister responsible for Early Learning and Child Care, Honourable Patty Hajdu, and express your concerns about how this cap affects real families and excludes high-quality providers who are already serving the community.
📧 Email Minister Hajdu: patty.hajdu@parl.gc.ca
📞 You can also contact your local Member of Parliament to advocate for increased flexibility and fairness in funding decisions.
Your voice matters. With your support, we hope to be included in future affordability programs and continue our mission to deliver the care your children deserve, without added financial burden.
Thank you for being part of our community, we hope to welcome you soon!.
Warm regards,
Trinity Early Learning Management
