"Why childcare?" For me, it’s a deeply personal journey shaped by family, faith, and a commitment to creating something meaningful. As a mother of four, I’ve raised wonderful kids with distinct personalities. My two oldest are mature and responsible, never needing childcare because I had wonderful parents to stay home with them, influenced by unsettling stories I’d heard about daycares. But as my parents aged, they couldn’t keep up with my younger two, who are still finding their way. That’s when my youngest attended the sister location to Trinity Early Learning & OSC, and I began to see childcare differently.
My journey in this field truly began with Klarvatten Daycare & OSC, a family endeavor inspired by my father’s vision. He owned a building and dreamed of leaving a legacy for his daughters by having us run a Childcare center there. When we first opened, I came from a corporate background with little knowledge of childcare. But I quickly fell in love with the work—providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children was more fulfilling than I’d ever imagined. With the help of my incredible Director, I also took pride in ensuring our Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) were respected, valued, and treated with dignity.
Owning and managing Klarvatten, a successful childcare center in North Edmonton, opened my eyes to the need for quality childcare and early education programs in other communities. Despite challenges—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic—we persevered and have expanded four times to meet growing demand, even amid nearby competition. That resilience fueled our next step: Trinity Early Learning & OSC. The name Trinity reflects my faith, a guiding force in my life, as I believe I can do all this through Jesus, who gives me strength. While Trinity isn’t a Christian daycare, our values shine through in how we care for our community, aiming to make a positive difference that everyone can feel.
Everything at Klarvatten was thoughtfully replicated at Trinity. From the murals my daughter painted on the walls to the carefully chosen furniture and toys, every detail was designed with love to create a warm, inviting space. We were intentional in hiring our educators—not just seeking employees, but passionate individuals who genuinely love working with children and helping them reach their full potential in their child development. Our team members are more than staff; they’ll become family, contributing to a nurturing and enriching atmosphere. We deeply value them, knowing that a supportive, positive work environment is essential for the well-being of both educators and children. I hope people notice the little details that make our centers unique. This is more than just childcare—it’s about building relationships, fostering growth, and unlocking potential. What began as a father’s dream and a mother’s leap of faith has grown into a mission to serve families and communities with care, intention, and heart. Welcome to Trinity.
Our Director
Our dedicated director, a mother to three amazing children, is a visionary leader with a deep commitment to providing high-quality childcare and early education programs. With a strong background in child development and years of experience in the field, Hamida brings a wealth of knowledge, care, and expertise to Klarvatten Daycare and now Trinity Early Learning & OSC.
As a passionate advocate for children’s well-being and growth, she ensures that our early education programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of each child, supporting their holistic development. Her hands-on approach fosters a warm and inclusive environment where children feel safe, engaged, and inspired to learn.
Hamida leads our team of educators with compassion, professionalism, and dedication. She firmly believes that great childcare starts with great educators—our team is made up of passionate, highly skilled individuals who are committed to nurturing and guiding each child’s learning journey. Their dedication, creativity, and genuine love for teaching make all the difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Our Program Supervisor
Our Program Supervisor is a dedicated and compassionate educator and a proud mother of two wonderful children. She began her career as a teacher in her hometown, where she developed a strong passion for child development and supporting children's growth and learning through early education programs. With a desire to build a brighter future and better opportunities for her family, she made the courageous decision to move to a new country.
Leyla is a determined, hardworking, and caring individual who brings both valuable teaching experience and personal understanding to her role. She is deeply committed to helping children learn, grow, and develop into their full potential, emphasizing the importance of high-quality childcare. Her love for children is reflected in the care, patience, and encouragement she gives each day.
In addition to her dedication to children and families, she is also highly supportive of her peers. She values teamwork, builds positive relationships with staff, and contributes to a welcoming and collaborative environment. Through her leadership, warmth, and commitment, she helps create a space where children, families, and educators all feel respected, supported, and inspired.
